Biography:

Connie Kassal got her Bachelor's degree in painting from the University of Wisconsin and much later, her Master's degree in painting from Governors State University near Chicago. She has exhibited widely in the Midwest including galleries in Chicago, South Bend and at the Governor's Mansion in Indianapolis, Indiana. She headed the Michigan City Mayor's Council for the Arts, has been active in several Northwest Indiana art organizations as well as managed two galleries for the Town of Long Beach. She is on the faculty at Purdue North Central in Westville, IN. Originally from farm country near Rockford, Illinois, she and her photographer husband, George, have lived near Lake Michigan in Long Beach, Indiana for over 25 years.
