Biography:
George Kassal received his Bachelor's degree geology from the University of Wisconsin and much later, his Master's degree in photography & digital imaging from Governors State University in University Park, Illinois. He has exhibited widely in the Midwest including galleries in Chicago, Wisconsin and northwest Indiana. George has been active in several Northwest Indiana art organizations and teaches photography at Weswood College in the Chicago Loop. He also periodically serves as guest lecturer/adjunct faculty at Prairie State College in Chicago Heights, Illinois; Indiana University Northwest in Gary, Indiana and at Purdue University North Central at Westville, Indiana. Originally from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, he and his artist wife, Connie, have lived near Lake Michigan in Long Beach, Indiana for over 25 years.
