Biography:
Amy grew up in
Northwestern Indiana and received her BA in Fine
Arts from Purdue University. She Lived in Lafayette
for 14 years, during and after school. She has a
professional background in commercial printing, but
joined the staff at the Lubeznik Center in 2004. She
is also interested in yoga philosophy and practice,
and teaches yoga classes. Amy is a member of the
Area Artists association and has shown in
Northwestern Indiana and in the Lafayette, IN area.
Some of the shows include the Lubeznik Center for
the Arts, Northern Indiana Arts Association, Purdue
University North Central, Purdue University
galleries and academic offices, as well as Lafayette
area eateries. Amy defines line, shape and spatial
relationships in her work and often explores
accidental shapes made by others.
