LCA exhibitions and programs are made possible, in part, with support from the Indiana Arts Commission and the National Endowment for the Arts, a federal agency.
The LOK Wishing Tree Foundation lives love through carbon monoxide education and unleashing the artistic dreams of youth.
The Foundation’s mission is made possible by the interconnected efforts of many partnership branches:
Arts and youth organizations
Since 2013, the LOK Wishing Tree Foundation has partnered with Lubeznik Center for the Arts (LCA) to provide funding for youth classes at the center, as well as enhanced after school opportunities in the visual arts, music and dance. An ongoing violin program for elementary students represents the premier achievement of this successful partnership.
Each year the partners celebrate the accomplishments of the youth by presenting a LOK Young Artists’ Expo (YAE). The LOK YAE kicks off on the First Friday in June at LCA with dance and musical performances and an opening reception of art by regional gifted youth. The art exhibition continues through mid-July.
