Biography:

I have a BFA from the San Francisco Art Institute and a Master of Science in Visual Design from IIT (Chicago). Most of my career was spent teaching art on the college level, first at the Art Institute of Boston, then at the University of Maine and finally at Prairie State College in Chicago Heights. Currently I own and operate an art gallery, The Acorn Gallery, in Union Pier, Mi., focusing on contemporary fine art. My own work consists of intricate and very fanciful drawings in ink and colored pencil on paper, starting with a natural image and expanding on it until it becomes truly my own.
