Biography:

Melissa Washburn holds a BFA in painting and printmaking from Binghamton University (State University of New York) and an MA in Arts Administration from IU Bloomington. Active in Northwest Indiana for the past five years, her work ranges painting, drawing, and mixed media. She has exhibited in group shows at Parkland Art Gallery in Champaign, IL; the Lubeznik Center for the Arts; South Shore Arts in Munster; Cornerstone Gallery in Whiting; and in a solo show at Substation No. 9 in Hammond, IN.
