Biography:
“…to portray life in a way that people feel an identity with, a response to and involvement in…”.  This is the goal of La Porte artist, Armina Carter Wolf. She received her B.A. in Art from Andrews University with additional seminars and graduate work at I.U., Notre Dame and the Chicago Art Institute.  Armina’s work has received awards in juried shows in California, Michigan, Illinois, and Indiana and has been featured on PBS television and in national publications.  Her sculpture and paintings are in private collections as well as libraries, hospitals, schools, and corporations.  Limited giclee reproductions are possible and available on a rotating rental basis.

In addition to speaking appointments and teaching, Kitty is active in many community projects.  She founded and chaired La Porte’s annual “Artist’s Gallery Walk” and Service League’s “Arts in the Park”, a summer series of music and the arts. She is a charter member of “Women in the Arts” in Washington, D.C. and is active in area Art Associations.   A deep pleasure in life and God’s creations are apparent as she strives to make a fleeting moment captive on canvas, tile or in a sculpted work. Currently, Kitty is working on a large bronze for the new Commons area at the University of Indianapolis.
