Art exhibitions
are at the heart of our operation. The quality
and variety of creative expression displayed by
the Lubeznik Center is exceptional. Our shows
range from work by youngsters through emerging
artists to artists of established reputation.
They address ethnicity, history, regionalism,
reality and fantasy through painting, sculpture,
mixed media and photography.
The positive economic impact of a center for the
arts is measurable and impressive. Much like
sporting events, lively shopping districts and
good restaurants, the arts add significantly to
the regional quality of life.
Our vision is to enable the widest possible
audience to participate in the creation and
appreciation of art. Our goal is to present
programs that will ignite and nurture the
artistic spirit within every individual.
The future is now
The Lubeznik Center
emerges from the fine tradition established by
the 25 year history of the John G. Blank Center
for the Arts, a major contributor to the social,
intellectual and cultural life of the community.
With that strong foundation, the new Lubeznik
Center is becoming a driving cultural force with
a greatly expanded mission of community service
and creative programming. Our goal is to produce
a vibrant civic presence and a regional focal
point for the arts.
The Capital Campaign has been launched to raise
funds for the transformation of the office
building donated by the Lubeznik family into an
outstanding art center. Expanded and improved
facilities will allow us to maximize the
building’s potential in order to accommodate
programs as never before. Dedicated classroom
space, studios and enlarged galleries will
enable us to do more and to do it better than
ever.
Programs and
exhibitions are geared to interest all segments
of the community. Please join us in developing
the future of our community now by making a
contribution to support our growth and
accomplishments.
