The Dolly Fund is an endowed fund that provides scholarships for arts education at Lubeznik Center for the Arts (LCA). It was initiated by Paul Marshall, in honor of his late wife and former LCA director, Dolly Marshall, to guarantee that arts education scholarships endure as part of LCA's mission to offer learning opportunities for students, age 7 to 18 - regardless of their ability to pay.
MICHIGAN CITY PUBLIC ART COMMITTEE CHILDREN'S SCHOLARSHIP FUND
The Michigan City Public Art Committee was created in 2011 through an ordinance passed by the City Council of Michigan City. The approved budget directs that a certain amount of money is to be used towards scholarships for children to take art classes in Michigan City. Visual art classes or individual art instruction for children between 5 and 18 years of age.
At LCA, we believe art is for everyone. Our Adult Scholarship Fund provides financial assistance for students ages 18 and up who wish to pursue their artistic passions through LCA art classes and workshops. This fund was launched in 2019 with the generous support of Unity Foundation of La Porte County. Both partial and full scholarships are available.
