LUBEZNIK CENTER FOR THE ARTS' 5TH ANNUAL NIGHT IN VENICE FUNDRAISER

The Lubeznik Center for the Arts announces May 10, 2008 as the date for Night in Venice V: A Masked Ball to be held at the Pottawatomie Country Club in Michigan City, IN. The annual event is the premier fundraiser for the Center and is themed after the Venetian Carnival - the perfect marriage of culture, tradition and celebration. Proceeds generated by Night In Venice will support educational programs and exhibits throughout the year.

In honor of Venetian customs, guests are encouraged to create and wear masks. The best mask will receive an award that evening, so be creative and have fun. Black tie attire is welcome.

Along with the mystery and intrigue of masks, guests will enjoy fine food and cocktails, a live band, dancing and the excitement of our live and silent auctions! Get your paddles ready - auction items will be posted on our website with images and descriptions so guests can get a sneak peek at the offerings for 2008. Extraordinary silent auction items will range from art, objects of desire, health & beauty, wine & dine packages, classes, entertainment, fashion & jewelry, food & cooking, getaway packages, pet pampering, and sports & fitness. Arrangements are being made for outstanding, once-in-a-lifetime live auction items that should not be missed.

The Lubeznik Center is also seeking additional corporate sponsorships to support the Night in Venice and Lakefront Art Festival fundraisers. Packages are offered at levels that work for your budget and help support Lubeznik Center programs and events year round.
