ABOUT THE FESTIVAL:
Shop the very best of fine art and craft at the 29th annual Lubeznik Center for the Arts Lakefront Art Festival. Located in Michigan City’s beautiful Washington Park, you’ll find beautiful one-of-a-kind items ― from photography, painting and portraiture, to jewelry, fiber and wearable art. Artists from across the country return year after year to take part in this juried lakefront event. Shop, browse and enjoy our unique lakefront community. With the in Water Boat Show next door, Michigan City’s “Anchors and Art Weekend” will be one you won’t want to miss.

See Artists at Work
Many exhibitors will be demonstrating in their booths and in designated areas. There is always something new to see.
Food Court
Our popular on-site food court is back, featuring a variety of culinary choices that range from healthy to indulgent. Ethnic and American offerings include brats, burgers, hot-dogs, tacos and burritos, grilled chicken pitas and walleye sandwiches to mention just a few. Those with a sweet-tooth might be tempted by roasted nuts, homemade ice-cream, smoothies or tropical shaved ice.
Activities for Kids
Our popular Art Activity Tent is back, with fun painting activities and clay on the potter's wheel. Michiana Clowns will be on hand to entertain with face painting & balloon sculptures. On Saturday at 2 p.m., Washington Park Zoo will delight small visitors with an on-site petting zoo.

Free Parking
Although there is a FEE to park in Washington Park, a FREE SHUTTLE service will deliver passengers to the festival gate from several nearby locations:
- Lighthouse Place Premium Outlets North lot (near US 12)
- Lubeznik Center for the Arts
- Michigan City Chamber of Commerce
- Michigan City City Hall
Directional signs marking these parking areas and their Shuttle Pick-Up locations will be posted on the day of the event. If you are up for a stroll, all lots are a short walking distance to Washington Park (3-4 blocks or about 5 to 10 minutes).
