To become an Area Artist, you must first have an active LCA membership at any level AND have your Area Artist Application accepted. Applications for the Area Artists Association (A3) are reviewed by current A3 members. Once you are an active LCA member and have a confirmed juried application, you will receive a link to pay the annual fee of $25.

The next application deadline is November 1, 2025, with notifications sent by December 1, 2025. Annual A3 membership fees are due in December and ensure eligibility for exhibitions in the following year.

The Area Artists Association is a professional artist group operating under the Lubeznik Center for the Arts (LCA) in Michigan City, IN. Artists who live or work within 60 miles of LCA must hold an active LCA membership before applying for jury review. A3 membership requires both the annual A3 fee and an annual LCA membership.
